The Alpine knife : Companion of mountain people.

The origin of this knife is uncertain but it seems to be inspired by Italian knives appeared around 1860 in Piedmont.

Made exclusively in Thiers and in the Thiernois basin since 1905, the Alpine knife has conquered the snowy peaks, but also the heart of the mountain range and that of amateurs and lovers of simple, robust and efficient knives.

Sober and perfectly functional, the Alpine knife carved and chiseled quantities of canes, butter mussels and hay rakes in high mountain estives.

Incalculable quantities of ceps, girolls or morillas cut with its blade with sides of Savoy Hills and in alpine undergrowth!

Still in his pocket, he was, and remains a faithful companion for the lunch snack in the middle of a mountain race or a gourmet break on his thumb to the city.
