"Standing bark" is a wood that has been cut perpendicular to the stem shoot. This cutting technique reveals surprising patterns, as on the warmed beech, thus revealing sumptuous rings of deep black. All our standing beech pads are packaged and sold in pairs.

Since wood is a natural material, the dimensions, as well as the appearance of platelets, may vary slightly from pair to pair.
