EUROTECHNI IS PROUD TO PRESENT YOU ITS BRAND NEW WEBSITE!
Morta's wood, also called "honey of the marshes", is a particular species in more than one way. It comes from an oak that is being fossilized, which has been found at the bottom of a marsh. The very specific composition of these peatlands (without oxygen and in a very mineralized soil) preserves the appearance of the trunk, even if the wood blackens as it ages - for several thousand years. Morta's wood is very valuable, not only in its history, but also in its work: it is estimated that on a trunk, only 10% of the material is usable. The result is an imputrescible wood, very resistant to water, whose shades, once shaped and polished, remind those of ebony.
Morta wood is also available in pairs of platelets! All you have to do is shape them and assemble them on the handle of your next knife!
