EUROTECHNI IS PROUD TO PRESENT YOU ITS BRAND NEW WEBSITE!
Richlite is an ecological material for high quality knife sleeves made from cellulose fibres (paper layers) and heat-hardening resin.
The Bordeaux colour borrows its dress from our famous French wines, a direct reminder of our terroir. It can also darken and wear warmer shades over time.
Paper sheets are stacked by hand, alternating the sense of paper to achieve the best possible balance and stability. They are then pressed hot to bind them and obtain a robust material. This process allows us to have a machined plate (drilling, taping, etc.) while being dense, homogeneous and vacuum-free. But also bring a china and soft aesthetic with a feeling of leather under the hand.
This innovative material is part of new applications such as furniture, restaurant tables, worktops, kitchen doors, signage, coating or knife handles!
The use of Richlite in such varied fields, proves and certifies its quality.
Once worked, this ecological material for sleeves gives an interesting aesthetic look with excellent performance in the most difficult conditions, whether industrial, leisure or culinary.
At the forefront of environmental defence, Richlite began its activity by developing natural fibre composites for aerospace and industry in 1943. Then, this material opened up to the maritime domain by being used for the construction of boats. Since the 1960s, Richlite has been increasingly used in food, especially in professional kitchens. Then, worked by many cutlery around the globe, it became an ecological material for quality knife sleeves.
