A northern wood, an atypical appearance

While birch is a tree that can be found all over the old continent, its "mad" variant (also known as curly) is found mainly in Nordic countries, such as Norway or Finland. Its very special appearance, its tight grain, spotted with small brown shrapnel, is indeed due to genetic malformation causing the tree to twist at the root. This wood, which recalls the motifs of the magnifiers of the most beautiful species, is easy to work, in addition to offering an undeniable "plus" aesthetic to the pieces they will come to adorn. As birch is a natural material, the appearance of wood may vary from one pair of platelets to another.
