The well-named TigerMai is an additional proof of the extent of the know-how of Baker Forge & Tools in terms of forge.

On a 80Crv2 carbon steel core, American blacksmiths came to apply flanks in Damascus, mixing 15N20, bronze, 1084 (very close to XC75) and copper.

The result is spoken: a very popular "water dropper" pattern of cutlery, whose bronze and copper tints are a little more emphasized by the addition of 15N20 for light parts and 1084 for dark parts. In a few words: a unique pattern!

We offer TigerMai - Raindrop in two distinct formats, particularly suitable for cutlery use:

- Sections of 30 x 3 mm, for small blades (for example, pocket knives or folding knives);

- Sections of 60 x 3 mm, for large projects (hunting knives, bushcraft, or kitchen knives).

A special solution was needed for such special alloys!

Still at the forefront of progress, Baker Forge & Tools developed Gator Piss, a solution for the revelation of carbon damas with revolutionary copper inclusions.

The Gator Piss allows carbon-loaded steels to be driven considerably, while maintaining the gloss of nickel-plated steels without ever damaging non-ferrous metals that are used in the composition of their Damascus steels.

To get the best results on TigerMai - Raindrop, we can only advise you to use the Gator Piss.

Who hides behind Baker Forge & Tools?

Just one of Damascus' best blacksmiths in the world.

Located in Zionville, between North Carolina and Tennessee, the workshops of Baker Forge were born of the passion of Coy Baker, a young blacksmith as creative as he was talented.
