The Damascus GoMai, named "Sunset" ("Sunset of the Sun" in French), is a unique Damascus motif, to be reserved for demanding cutlery who want to work only the most original materials.

What makes Damascus Baker Forge GoMay - Sunset so special? Beyond its appearance, it is its very construction!

On a heart composed of 80Crv2 carbon steel, Coy Baker and his teams came to add a bronze leaf, itself surrounded by copper. After revelation, the bronze centre will put on golden hues that will melt in copper, to give a striking "sunset" effect.

And so as not to spoil anything, the flanks that come to bind this construction are composed of a Damascus steel forged from 15N20 and 1084 steel (very similar to the XC75), for a touch of additional elegance.

A contrast highlighted by 80Crv2, which will emerge from a deep black to revelation.

Damascus developed by Baker Forge & Tools are special: it was necessary to develop a "tailor-made" revelation solution for these nuances.

That's where Gator Piss comes in. Behind this flower name is a mixture specially formulated for the revelation of carbon damas steels composed of copper, bronze, nickel and other non-ferrous materials.

The Gator Piss will darken the carbonized shades while preserving the brilliance and gloss of nickel steels, without altering the softest components.

- In 30 x 3 mm, multi-purpose size, for blades of small fixed knives or folding knives;

- In 60 x 3 mm, for more ambitious projects, such as hunting knives or kitchen blades.
