A new addition to the DarkMay: the CuShim.

Among the last born of Damascus steels Baker Forge, There's the Dark Mai.

We already proposed the Coppermascus version of this pattern, here it is shown with the CuShim: a copper leaf on each side of a central soul in 80crv2, coming to zebra the deep black of steel.

Obtained by an unprecedented fusion welding method developed by Baker Forge & Tools, the CuShim - Dark Mai mounted extremely resistant, after submitting to a test battery.

A solidity to any test, only matched by its beauty, all in sobriety.

DarkMai Steel Revelation by Baker Forge.

DarkMay steel by Baker Forge is unique. It was necessary, therefore, to reveal the exact extent of this exceptional shade: the Gator Piss.

This treatment will give its full dimension to the aesthetics of the room by letting appear the different layers of materials, their colors, their contrasts.

The particularity of alloys Baker Forge is the alloy of soft materials with extremely hard steels.

To get the best out of CuShim - DarkMai, we strongly advise you to reveal it using Gator Piss.

Ideal dimensions for knife blades.

We offer the CuShim - DarkMai in two separate templates, specially designed to facilitate the work of the cutlery:

- Bars in 30 x 3 mm, rather designed for small blades;

- Sections in 60 x 3 mm, to be reserved for the series or for larger projects (e.g. kitchen knives).

All Damascus steels Baker Forge are delivered annealed and rectified. Sold per centimeter, we cut the section of your choice on request.
