How can you do well with your dip?

Cut to the size of your dip, the stainless steel strip allows to isolate it from the ambient air and thus prevent any oxidation (calamine) or decarburation. It is important to make a waterproof folding when shaping to ensure an optimal result.

Some cutlery insert small pieces of paper handkerchiefs with their blade in the envelope. By consuming themselves, they will generate CO2 that will eventually drive out the remaining oxygen present. In order to maintain this protection, the blade, once removed from the oven, will be soaked with its envelope.

The stainless steel strip for soaking your blades withstands temperatures up to 1200°C.
