EUROTECHNI IS PROUD TO PRESENT YOU ITS BRAND NEW WEBSITE!
With the kit "Home Blade" Laguiole full handle By Eurotechni, easily mount your own folding knife.
This kit with elements entirely made in France is ideal for beginners in learning the secrets of mounting pocket knives.
The so-called "full handle" knives lack mitres, i.e. the decorative pieces located at the front and/or back of the handle. Here, the beautiful part is made of the material of the handle and the talent of the cutlery.
The kit contains:
• A stainless steel blade made of Sandvik cutlery 12C27M already soaked and ground in flat, 12 centimetres long. It is engraved with rhinoceros from the new Eurotechni logo.
The assembly of your knife will teach you the gestures of the cutlery and the careful adjustment.
Accessible to all tinkerers, the assembly is done with a simple material that we all have on our set (a file, abrasive paper, a hammer, a drill, a vice). Just follow the instructions for use of the package leaflet included in your kit to make your own Laguiole pocket knife.
In your kit are included two 5mm thick solid olive wood pads with original natural veins.
It is on the sleeve that all the creativity of the cutlery is expressed, which will shape him according to his imagination and his talents.
From the simplest to the most elaborate works, the shape of the handle makes your Laguiole a unique object.
Each of the metal parts of your knife kit can be decorated by us with professional laser marking for a single price of 6.83 €uros TTC (degressive depending on the quantities). Whether it is a text or a logo, just send us the model by e-mail to hello@eurotechni.fr indicating the chosen location.
The Laguiole knife full handle Home Blade By Eurotechni is made up of elements ready for assembly made with the same materials as those used by cutlery professionals, a guarantee of strength and longevity.
The blade is made of 12C27M stainless steel from the world-famous Swedish manufacturer Sandvik. It is soaked according to a suitable heat treatment process which increases its hardness, resistance to external aggression and oxidation. Finally, this treatment guarantees the blade a high cutting power after sharpening and polishing.
The plates, the frame of your Laguiole knife, are made of stainless steel, a steel that allows to maintain flexibility and strength.
The spring of your knife is made of cutlery stainless steel, a steel that allows good flexibility in all circumstances.
The spring has been subjected to a special soaking process which gives it the flexibility necessary to open and close the blade without it risking to break. Naturally, the famous bee is present, carefully welded on the spring.
The stainless steel rivets are to be cut during the assembly of your knife to a length sufficient to allow the assembly to be permanently fixed (see assembly instructions included).
Note: the rivet used for the (shortest) blade axis is slightly larger in diameter than the other fastening rivets. Do not use other (longer) rivets to assemble the blade.
However, be careful not to let it stay in the water or put it in the dishwasher. Remember to wipe thoroughly after each use: if the steels are rigorously selected for their resistance to oxidation, the material of the handle could be irreversibly damaged.
Laguiole is a well-known name for all cutlers, collectors and knife lovers. Since the end of the 18th century, the town of Laguiole, in Aveyron, has cultivated the cutlery tradition with its models with characteristic shapes adorned with the famous bee affixed for the first time in 1909 on the spring of Laguiole by Jules Calmels, grandson of the creator of these knives.
