EUROTECHNI IS PROUD TO PRESENT YOU ITS BRAND NEW WEBSITE!
The Snake Eyes stainless steel screws were developed in 1987 by the American manufacturer Tamproof.
Also known as "Spanner" screws or "Pig nose", these screws have been designed for secure attachment of sensitive parts.
These types of screws, with their two simple round notches, are not very common and, therefore, the screwdriver end allowing them to be mounted or disassembled is also so, which gives some safety against the risk of unauthorized disassembly.
Snake Eyes safety screws offer a less known advantage over mounting safety.
Their own design prevents too strong a clamping, thus protecting the materials from the risk of breakage.
Excessive clamping will result in the screwing of the screwdriver to avoid damage to materials, but will also prevent the blocking of certain parts which must retain their mobility.
Secure screws were originally designed for mounting elements to remain inviolable in sensitive areas such as aeronautics or aerospace.
Out of very confidential areas, they are now used in more common applications for their safety qualities but also for an additional touch of originality in cutlery.
Our secure screws are ideally suited for cutlery mounting.
With a diameter of 3 mm and a length of 8 or 10 mm, two models are available in bags of 10 pieces: with a cylindrical head or a milled head.
For a touch of originality and mounting safety as well as for disassembly, opt for our Snake Eyes screws without forgetting the tip needed for their use.
