INFORMATION & ADVICE

Next-generation CARBURE FORETS replace fast steel HSS drills.

With a body entirely composed of tungsten carbide, the CARBURE monoblock FORETS have been imposed for drilling the toughest steels (45 HRC and more) and composite materials, unlike the carbide pad or bit drills and HSS fast steel drills.

Designed for the most modern drilling technologies, they are adapted to high rotation speeds and fast forward speeds for improved precision and productivity.

A special selection for professional or amateur cutlery.

With diameters of 2.0 to 3.5 mm, this range of carbide monobloc drills is dedicated to cutlery professionals as well as amateurs, in order to facilitate the essential drilling operations for mounting and finishing knives. Thanks to the exceptional performance of these drills, the toughest materials can be drilled with great precision and without blush, avoiding the possible disadvantages due to overheating problems.

Available diameters correspond to the most common cutlery drilling diameters for rivet or screw mounting or for insertion of spacers or axes.

Drill depth in full machining.

With superior performance to HSS drills, the B200 K10F single block CARBURE FORETS can be used for precision drilling of refractory steels on depths up to 5d, and beyond for other steels (5d = 5 times the diameter of the drill). Softer materials and composite materials can be machined without maximum depth rule.
