COMPACT WHEELS (CONVOLUTE/BUBBLE) for surface finishes.

Convolute and Unitized compact wheels are made of nylon wrapped and compressed with abrasive grains. From deburring to polishing, many variants of compact convolute wheels are available depending on the finish to be given.

Choose compact convolute or Unitized wheels?

These two names combine tools with similar characteristics but of different diameters. Wheels with a diameter of more than 150 mm are compact "Convolutes" wheels, while wheels with a diameter of 150 mm or less are compact "Unitized" wheels.

COMPACT WHEELS (CONVOLUTE/BUBBLE): how to choose them.

Compact convolute wheels, with a diameter of more than 150 mm, are generally used with fixed machines such as machining robots or turret. Unitized compact wheels, when they are smaller in diameter, allow them to be used with electro-portable equipment, favouring mobility and facilitating access to difficult or narrow places.

Compact convolute wheels are available in 3 large families depending on the type of work to be done: precision deburring wheels, metal finishing wheels, multi-material finishing wheels.

The compact convolute wheels are packed with fine silicon abrasive grains SF and can be of 7 density, the most flexible, at 9, the most rigid, with an even more rigid R version for intensive applications such as corners or cutting edges.
